Hype Week 6: A brand new game, $3,000 cash up for grabs, and tons of BLOOD! Stream and watch for your chance to win!

Hype Week #6 has it all — prizes for both streamers and viewers! We’re teaming up with Techland to host Hype Week featuring their new game, Dying Light: Bad Blood.

The latest installment in the series is available today on Steam via early access (download it here). Bad Blood introduces a completely new game type called ‘Brutal Royal’. The battle royale style gameplay pits 12 players in a zombie-infested area against each other to become the sole survivor. Check out the launch trailer below:

More Ways to Win this Hype Week

OPTION 1: Stream Dying Light: Bad Blood To qualify, stream Dying Light: Bad Blood from Monday, September 17th at 2 pm PDT to September 24th midnight PDT. If you manage to stay in the top 30 you can win the following:

  • Top 15 Streamers — Split $3,000 USD (weighted winnings)
  • Top 30 Streamers — Receive Dying Light Enhanced Edition key + an additional key for a Refereum follower

OPTION 2: Watch Dying Light: Bad Blood You’ve been crying out for new ways to participate without streaming. We’ve heard your cries so we’re trying something new in Hype Week 6 — we call them Bonus Quests. Bonus Quests appear once a day on the quest page and offer bonus points for viewing an hour of Dying Light. The quests only last for 4 hours, so once you see them appear in your Quests, you have 4 hours to view 1 hour. The quest resets every day, so you have a chance at bonus points each day during the hype week.

OPTION 3: The Refereum trivia bot will also make an appearance this week. It will be dishing out Dying Light trivia during Hype Week 6 and awarding additional Dying Light Enhanced Edition keys. Make sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook because we’ll be announcing whenever the trivia bot is available.

Reminder about the fine print

To be eligible for the streaming competition, you must be an active Refereum user and have Twitch activated on your profile. Your hours streamed and the number of views adds up to your total hours watched score for the leaderboard.
